ABOUT BALAHIBONG PUSA

Balahibong Pusa is a movement that confronts the stigma innovatively through mass-produced zines, street art, and social media. An influential feminist punk movement in this project is called Riot Grrrl, a subcultural movement that combines feminism, punk music, and politics. 
The artist corresponds to this more than almost any other feminist ordeals, along with the constant disregarded degradation women experience up until today. Everyday occurrences and empirical data met them to focus on the analysis of this particular issue—creating a project named Balahibong Pusa to set a goal for Filipino women's enlightenment and empowerment.
